- Name of your project
- Tous coparents: la coparentalité ça s'apprend!
- Two line description
- Co-parenting, or the ability of the adults in charge of a child to support and cooperate with each other, can be a source of major tension in the family, with negative effects on the child's psychological development. It is therefore necessary to pass on to parents the keys to successful co-parenting.
- Target audience
- First union families, post-separation families, blended families, homoparental families
- Your project in detail
- During the transition to parenthood, a great deal of information is passed on to future parents: breastfeeding, screen prevention, the mother-child relationship, the father's place in the family, but no information is given about co-parenting. Co-parenting refers to the ability of the adults responsible for the child to act jointly in the child's best interests, to co-create a protective structure for the child. Studies show the importance of good co-parenting for a child's development (emotional, cognitive and social).\nRaising co-parents' awareness is essential, since co-parenting lasts over time and must evolve as the child grows. Co-parenting also endures in the event of marital separation, and can be undermined by tensions between ex-spouses. Finally, co-parenting is not limited to first-time families, and also exists in blended and same-sex families, with certain specific features of its own.\n The aim of this project is to create a flyer offering a few keys to successful co-parenting - for the benefit of the child. The project includes general tips for good co-parenting, as well as more specific tips aimed at different family forms (co-parenting in families after separation, in blended families and in same-sex families). Addressing co-parenting issues before tensions and conflicts arise is necessary to preserve children's well-being and family unity. This project is thus part of a preventive approach, giving families a few keys to positive co-parenting.\nWe plan to distribute the flyer to future parents (whether or not it's their first child) via midwives during childbirth preparation or post-partum follow-up sessions, pediatricians, parent-child care facilities such as maisons vertes and other associations whose target audience is families in Lausanne.\n

- Nom de votre projet
- Tous coparents: la coparentalité ça s'apprend!
