- Short description
- In spring 2025, the Pôle Sud sociocultural center will host the 2nd Grande Rencontre des parentalités queer, féministes et complices: a festive and militant weekend to invent together other ways of making community.
- Target audience
- This event is aimed at the widest possible audience: adults - parent-es or not - and children. However, it is more specifically aimed at Parents, especially those who don't fit into the nuclear family model: solo, gay or trans parents, chosen or blended families. Children, who will be fully involved in the event. They will be able to take part in the whole event, and part of the activities will be specifically dedicated to them. Special facilities will be set up to welcome them: games, library corner, adapted furniture. To accomplices, as many adults surround and take charge of children's upbringing: co-parents, grandparents, friends and all other forms of constellation.

- CONTEXT\nOn April 27 and 28, 2024, Pôle Sud hosted the 1st Grande Rencontre des Parentalités queer, féministes et complices. This first edition was a great success with:\n- Nearly 300 people on Saturday and over sixty on Sunday\n- 50 volunteers throughout the weekend\n- 11 workshops for adults, teens and children\n- 2 lectures\n- 3 performances\n- 4 discussion circles\n- 2 beautifully appointed children's areas\n- 200 free vegan meals\n- 1 boom and 1 brunch for the general public\nEncouraged by this magnificent first edition, the organizing team has decided to repeat the adventure in 2025.\n\nDESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES\nWith conferences, discussions, workshops, performances and disco kids, the 2nd Grande rencontre des Parentalités queer féministes et complices will once again be a major festive event that will occupy the entire sociocultural center for two days.\nThe event has several ambitions:\n- Create a space for meeting, sharing and conviviality around parenthood;\n- To enable children to meet others who share family patterns outside the heteronormative, nuclear framework;\n- Inform, help and support queer families and their accomplices;\n- Create a resonance beyond our families and make them visible to the general public.

- Au printemps 2025, le centre socioculturel Pôle Sud accueillera la 2ème Grande Rencontre des parentalités queer, féministes et complices : un week-end festif et militant pour inventer ensemble d’autres manières de faire communauté.
- Public cible
- Cet événement vise un public le plus large possible : adultes – parent·es ou non – et enfants. Il s’adresse toutefois plus spécifiquement : Aux parent·es et en particulier celleux qui ne se retrouvent pas dans le modèle de la famille nucléaire : les parent·es solos, homo ou trans, les familles choisies ou recomposées. Aux enfants qui feront pleinement partie de la rencontre. Iels pourront participer à tout l’événement et une partie des activités leur sera spécifiquement dédiée. Des aménagements seront mis en place pour les accueillir: jeux, coin bibliothèque, mobilier adapté. Aux complices car de nombreux adultes entourent et prennent en charge l’éducation des enfants: co-parent·es, grands-parent·es, ami·es et toutes autres formes de constellations.

Cette première édition a été couronnée de succès avec:\n·\tPrès de 300 personnes le samedi et plus d’une soixantaine de personnes le dimanche \n·\t50 bénévoles tout au long du week-end\n·\t11 ateliers pour adultes, ado et enfants \n·\t2 conférences \n·\t3 performances \n·\t4 cercles de discussions \n·\t2 espaces enfants magnifiquement aménagés \n·\t200 repas vegan à prix libre \n·\t1 boom et 1 brunch tout public\nEncouragée par cette magnifique première édition, l’équipe d’organisation a décidé de réitérer l’aventure en 2025.\n\nDESCRIPTIF ET OBJECTIFS\nConférences, discussions, ateliers, performances ou encore disco-kids, la 2ème Grande rencontre des Parentalités queer féministes et complices sera à nouveau un grand événement festif qui occupera l’ensemble du centre socioculturel durant deux jours. \nCette rencontre se fixe plusieurs ambitions :\n•\tCréer un espace de rencontres, de partages et de convivialité autour des parentalités ;\n•\tPermettre aux enfants d’en rencontrer d’autres, partageant des schémas familiaux en dehors du cadre hétéronormatif et nucléaire ;\n•\tInformer, aider, soutenir les familles queer et leurs complices ;\n•\tCréer une résonance au-delà de nos familles et les visibiliser auprès du grand public.
